Jade, founder of Headstrong Co, holding the Anxiety Workbook

Home / About

Hi, I'm Jade

The friend who happens to know psychology.

I started Headstrong Co because I kept seeing the same thing: people struggling with stuff that made total sense once someone explained it properly. Anxiety, burnout, shutting down, snapping at people you love. Not character flaws. Nervous systems doing their job.

I'm a qualified Social Worker working in senior mental health roles, including psychiatric liaison in A&E. Before that, my career took me through children's services, crisis services, personality disorder pathways and support for care leavers. I've sat with people at their lowest points, and I've seen how much difference it makes when someone gets help early.

Headstrong Co is all of that experience, minus the clinical language. I'm also a working mum juggling the same chaos as everyone else, so I know the difference between advice that sounds nice and advice that actually works on a Tuesday.

Whether it's a construction site, an office or your kitchen table, the goal is the same: help you understand what's going on, and give you something you can do about it.

What that means for your organisation

  • I know what crisis looks likeWorking in A&E and crisis services means recognising when someone needs more than a chat, and acting on it.
  • I know the in-between bitMost people never reach services. They just struggle quietly at work. That's where Headstrong comes in.
  • I know how systems workSafeguarding, risk, referrals and confidentiality are part of everyday practice, so your people are in safe hands.
  • I know how to explain itYears of training staff and supporting people means no jargon, just things that make sense the first time.
Our approach

Trauma-informed. Not trauma-obsessed.

We don't do jargon, judgement or one-size-fits-all. Everything we deliver is built on a few things we won't compromise on.

Safety

People open up when they feel safe. So that comes first, every time.

Compassion

Warm, human and kind. Without being soft on the stuff that matters.

Empowerment

We give you the understanding and the tools. You stay in the driving seat.

Curiosity

"What's going on for you?" beats "What's wrong with you?" every time.

Authenticity

Real people, real life, real talk. Nobody here is pretending to have it all figured out.

Growth

Brains can change. That's not a slogan, it's neuroplasticity.

Let's have a proper conversation.

Whether it's for your workplace or for you, we'll get back to you within two working days.
