What the pathway is.

You train in the Headstrong Co. clinic model, pass an assessment, and are licensed to deliver Headstrong Co. on-site wellbeing clinics to the same standard, wherever you are. You stay self-employed. We protect the model, the brand and the people on the other side of the conversation.

The Headstrong Co. Regulation Framework™, how a clinic day runs, personal wellbeing plans, take-home tools and anonymised HR theme reporting.

A licence to deliver

The right to deliver Headstrong Co. clinics and use the brand, materials and resources, for as long as your licence is active and in good standing.

Practitioner toolkit

Clinic resources, wellbeing plan templates, client-facing materials, report templates and branded marketing assets.

Supervision & quality support

Regular group practice supervision, a clear safeguarding escalation route and ongoing updates to the model.

Who it's for.

Clinic days put you in a private room with people who might be struggling. So the bar is high, and it's not negotiable.

You'll need

Current registration with Social Work England, the HCPC or the NMC, or accredited membership of BACP, UKCP, BABCP or an equivalent professional body
At least two years' post-qualifying experience in mental health, crisis, wellbeing or a closely related setting
A satisfactory enhanced DBS check, and two professional references
Your own professional indemnity and public liability insurance at the levels set out in the licence
Regular clinical supervision of your own, alongside Headstrong Co. practice supervision
The right to work in the UK, and to be set up as self-employed or through your own company

Every licensed practitioner agrees to

Deliver clinics only to the Headstrong Co. model, using approved materials, and only while their licence is active
Follow the Headstrong Co. safeguarding, confidentiality and data protection procedures, every time
Take part in supervision, quality reviews, client feedback and occasional observed practice
Keep their registration, DBS and insurance current, and tell us straight away if anything changes
Accept that a licence can be suspended or ended if standards aren't met, and that brand and materials can't be used after it ends

The honest bit

A licence gives you the training and the right to deliver Headstrong Co. clinics. It isn't a job offer, an employment contract or a guarantee of work or income. We'll be completely open on your information call about the costs, how clinic work is found and shared in your area, and what's realistic. You'll get the full licence terms in writing before you pay anything, and we'd encourage you to take your own advice on them.

Questions practitioners usually ask

Is this a franchise?

It's a licence. You're trained and licensed to deliver the Headstrong Co. clinic model under the Headstrong Co. name, for an agreed fee, and on agreed terms. You run as your own self-employed business.

How much does it cost?

Costs cover the training, assessment and an ongoing licence. We share the full breakdown on the information call and in writing before you commit to anything.

Will I get an area to myself?

Areas and how clinic work is shared depend on where you are and how many practitioners are licensed nearby. Anything agreed is written into your licence. If it isn't in writing, it isn't promised.

Can I keep my own practice or job?

Usually, yes, as long as there's no conflict of interest and your employer or regulator is happy. You can't deliver the Headstrong Co. model or use its materials under any other name.

Is this therapy?

No. Headstrong Co. clinics are trauma-informed emotional wellbeing support: practical conversations, tools and a personal plan. Licensed practitioners work to that scope, and signpost or refer on when someone needs more.

What happens if something goes wrong in a clinic?

You follow the Headstrong Co. safeguarding and incident procedures, with a named lead to escalate to. Training covers this in detail before you deliver anything.
